Tell Me More Spanish Edition Review
If you are thinking of trying out Tell Me More spanish Edition, you should consider first what it is you want to accomplish first. If you are only interested in basic stuff such as how to order in a restaurant, or ask for basic directions in a Spanish speaking country while on vacation, then this might not be the best option for you.
Tell Me More is on the pricey side of things, but totally worth the money. With this Spanish learning program you will be able to decide for yourself what you learn and how you learn it. If you are a serious Spanish student, then this is for you.
How the Method Works
Tell Me More is set up for all level of students, from beginners who have little or no previous knowledge of the language, to advanced students who need help with vocabulary, grammar, comprehension or pronunciation. the great thing about it is that you are given three different ways of learning. They are:
Free to roam.
In this mode you will be able to choose which themes or topics you want to learn and will be given all sorts of exercises within those topics.
Guided Mode.
This is where you will be taken through each of the lessons sequentially, but will still have some say in what topics are covered. This way, if there is something that you really need more work on such as grammar, you can concentrate on it without wasting time working on things you already know.
Dynamic Mode
This is one of the most interesting modes in this program. It is similar to Guided Mode, except the program has more control over what you see and when you see it. It does this be keeping track of all your previous work and progress.
What Else is in the Method
In the Tell Me More Spanish Premium Edition, you will be able to work with software that can recognize your voice which is very good in helping fix your pronunciation quickly. In addition to this, there is a nice library online that you can access, as well as the ability to make cd's so you can learn while you are driving, or away from your computer.
Is it Worth the Money?
To cut to the chase, yes. There are over 950 hours of instruction covering everything you would need to learn, with a choice between Latin American Spanish and Castilian Spanish. Both types of learners, audio and visual can benefit from this program. One of the drawbacks though is that the software will only work on a pc. Macs are not supported.
This is a good solid program which should help your Spanish improve quickly.
